ARTIST
Hayat, born in 1977 in Morocco, spent her childhood in the Paris region, mainly in Saint-Denis where her life was rich in experiences.
Since the age of 8, she has been drawing comics, designer dresses… her only means of expression. Marked by Rap culture, 70's soul, pop, rock, classical music… Fascinated by history, architecture, art… it is her thirst for learning and her life experiences that shaped it.
She left the Paris region in the 90s for the provinces and left behind this multicultural effervescence inspired by the suburbs: a real social, musical, and human richness. She continues to escape and dream despite the most beautiful landscapes that surround her.
HER JOURNEY
She studied business and began her career in the automotive industry, which enabled her to obtain an engineering degree in Safety and Industrial Environment: a profession said to have a future in 2001.
Its mission was to reduce risks at work: accidents, occupational diseases, to reduce environmental impacts: to limit noise, pollution, and waste, and to analyze technical, organizational, or human malfunctions. With a single goal, to improve working conditions with increasingly strict regulations combined with zero accident/incident objectives of course.
Therefore, those experiences in the industry lead her to think about the possibilities of using materials and their valuation.
It is time to return to his original vocations.
The plastic arts and music never leave her. It's time to shoot a new chapter in his book.
And it is through the pictorial arts, she offers her gaze on a world where everything is possible, even the most improbable, thus surprising the viewer with familiarity and generosity.

Hayat finds his subjects of inspiration in our customs, objects, media, words, music, advertising, her memories ...
There are no limits. For her, movie posters and musical album jackets are revealed as pure masterpieces that characterize an era, a symbol, a memory specific to each person, a thought: the magic of the image that makes you vibrate. And what is this mysterious craze for old newspaper releases/clippings? Is it a relative fascination with history? Which hands went through these?
By leafing through these publications, locating articles, images, photos, and advertisements, imagination and inspiration begin the path of artistic achievement.
So the technique can begin: tear, assemble and glue, associate characters. Some of these historical publications are preserved and spared by his hands because they are too precious in his eyes. Hayat uses mixed techniques thus combining collage, acrylic, photography, aerosols, gilding ...
